The response to Wednesday’s email about Slow, not Balance has been great.
When I sat down to write that letter I was not sure what I was going to write about for the week. More often than not the posts that I write quickly do the best. Funny how that works.
The positive response got me thinking about what makes a writer. Not a Good Writer. But just, a Writer.

When I started my Instagram account back in 2019, it was mostly out of desperation. I was burnt out in academic medicine (again). I was searching for a way to get my ideas out that did not involve a 5,000 word grant application or another academic journal rejection.
